This 2-hour beginner's course will teach you how to operate a film camera, understand various film stocks, and learn how to properly expose for film. Ideal for individuals new to analog photography, this class provides hands-on experience and basic photographic techniques.

Course Breakdown:
Part 1: Introduction and Camera Basics (1 - 1.5 hours)
Overview of the film photography process: Understanding film types, camera components, and exposure triangle.
Film Stocks: Introduction to Kodak Portra 400 and its characteristics.
Film Camera Operation: Learn how to load, unload, and set up the film camera for shooting.
Exposing for Film: Understand how to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings to achieve the desired exposure.
Hands-On Practice: Learn to focus, frame, and adjust settings while discussing the artistic possibilities of film photography.
Part 2: Photographing Subjects (1 hour)
Shooting Session: Students will have the opportunity to photograph a subject (either a model or still life).
Instructor Guidance: Personalized instruction to refine camera operation, composition, and exposure.
Individual Practice: Students will have time to experiment with different settings and techniques in a controlled environment.
